About Us
A Fremont electrical crew that sets up temporary power and site equipment for commercial, industrial and housing construction.
Who we are
Fremont Temporary Power is a licensed C-10 electrical contractor based in Fremont. We set temporary services from 100A to 400A, rent generators, light towers, camera trailers, site internet and spot coolers, and handle the paperwork that comes with them. The people who walk your site are the same people who set the pole and come back to take it out.

The work we do most
Our week is mostly tilt-up warehouses, apartment and mixed-use buildings, phased tract housing and tenant improvements in tech and industrial shells. These jobs run on tight schedules, and power is usually one of the first things on the critical path.
Where we work
We cover Fremont and the cities around it in Alameda County, the Tri-Valley, San Ramon and Concord in Contra Costa County, and eight Santa Clara County cities from Milpitas to Palo Alto and Cupertino. That means dealing with several city building divisions, Alameda, Contra Costa and Santa Clara counties for unincorporated areas, PG&E, and the two city-owned utilities: Silicon Valley Power and City of Palo Alto Utilities (CPAU).
How we quote
We start from the load list, not a guess. Each written quote lists the permit, the install, the monthly rent, the inspection and the removal, so there are no extra lines at the end of the job.
When plans change
Construction schedules slip and jump. When a pour moves up a week or the utility pushes a date, we adjust the equipment plan, bring a generator in or pull one out, and tell you what it changes in cost.
How we run jobs
- Give a real date for live power, even when it is not the date you hoped for
- Size equipment to the load instead of the biggest unit in the yard
- Keep sites safe with GFCI protection, proper grounding and clean cable runs
- Answer the phone during work hours and call back the same day
- Remove every pole, rod and cable when the job is done
Licenses and coverage
- California C-10 electrical contractor license
- General liability and workers comp coverage, certificates on request
- Permits filed with each city building division or the county
- Service requests filed with PG&E, Silicon Valley Power and City of Palo Alto Utilities
- Air district permit checks with BAAQMD for larger generators
