Light Tower Rental in Fremont
We deliver LED light towers, solar towers, balloon lights and string lighting so crews can pour early, work late and keep the yard lit after the gate closes.
Lighting that keeps the schedule moving after dark
Concrete pours on big East Bay slabs often start before sunrise to beat the afternoon heat. Winter days are short. Freeway and utility work is often pushed to night hours. Every one of those shifts needs bright, even light on the work area, and a row of clamp lamps on extension cords does not get there.
Our towers use LED heads that throw more light per gallon than the old metal-halide units, and they are back on full output the moment you flip them on. Diesel towers suit long nights and big pads. Solar towers charge during the day and run quiet, which helps near houses in Newark, Union City and the tract builds out in Dublin.
Lights also help with security. Paired with cameras that send motion clips, a lit yard is a harder target. On sites with a temp service, we can run electric towers off a permitted temp panel and skip the fuel.

Jobs that run past daylight
Most of our lighting rentals in the Fremont area fall into a few groups.
Early concrete pours
Large slab and tilt-up pours start in the dark to finish before the heat. Towers around the pour line give finishers the light they need from the first truck, and we set them so the pump boom and the trucks can still get in and out.
Night road and utility work
Lane closures and utility tie-ins are often limited to night hours. Towers light the work zone and help drivers see it from far off.
Short winter days
In December, light fades by late afternoon. A tower or two lets a framing or roofing crew finish the day without rushing.
Interior work before power
Warehouse shells and new houses are dark inside until permanent lighting is in. String lights and balloon lights keep trades safe on ladders and lifts.
Overnight yard security
A solar tower aimed at the gate and the laydown can run dusk to dawn without anyone on site.
How we set up site lighting
Step 1
Map the work area
We look at the size of the area, the tasks and the shift hours, then plan how many towers or lights to place and where. On a big pad we mark tower spots on the site plan so the crew knows where they go when the slab layout changes.
Step 2
Choose diesel, solar or electric
Long, bright nights favor diesel. Quiet areas and security favor solar. Where a temp service is close, electric towers save fuel.
Step 3
Deliver and aim
We set towers, raise the masts and aim the heads away from the street and nearby houses to cut glare and complaints.
Step 4
Fuel and service
We schedule fuel for diesel units and check solar charge remotely where we can. A tower that fails gets swapped, and if a night shift is at risk we treat the call as urgent.
Step 5
Move or remove
As the job moves from the slab to the interior, we shift towers and bring in string lights. At the end we collect it all.
Why we light sites the way we do
We plan lighting by the area and the task, not by how many towers we have in the yard. A pour crew, a steel crew and an empty laydown yard all need different light levels and aim.
- LED diesel towers with long run time per tank
- Solar towers for quiet, fuel-free nights
- Balloon lights for glare-free task lighting
- String lights for interiors and stairwells
- Fuel runs and lamp swaps handled by us
- Electric towers that run off site power
Light tower types and options
A pour, a parking lot and a stairwell call for different fixtures. We usually send a combination and adjust it after the first night shift, once the foreman tells us where it is still dim.
LED diesel towers
Four LED heads on a tall mast with a small diesel engine. They burn far less fuel than metal-halide units and light up instantly.
Solar light towers
Panels charge a battery bank during the day. They run quietly at night with no fuel, which suits housing areas and security.
Electric towers
Plug-in towers that run from site power. They are the cheapest to run when a temp service or a large site generator is already nearby.
Balloon lights
A glowing globe that spreads soft light in every direction with very little glare. Good for finish work, inspections and roadway jobs.
String lighting
LED strings for corridors, stairwells and unfinished rooms. They plug into temp power and move as the trades move.
Masts and aiming
Masts raise high enough to cover wide areas. Heads rotate and tilt so light lands on the work and stays off the neighbors.
Light tower pricing near Fremont
Light tower rentals in the area typically run $350 to $700 a week, depending on the type and how long you keep it. Fuel for diesel towers is billed on top.

- Balloon lights or string lighting added
- Delivery and moves around the site
Tell us the area, the hours and the work, and we will send a written quote. Monthly terms bring the weekly cost down on long jobs.
Questions about renting light towers
How long does a diesel LED tower run on a tank?
It varies by model and how bright you run it, but LED towers usually go many nights on one tank. We check fuel on our service visits so you are not left in the dark.
Are solar towers bright enough for a pour?
For security and general lighting they work well. For a large pour with finishers working the whole slab, diesel or electric towers give more output for longer.
Can you aim the lights away from houses?
Yes. We rotate and tilt the heads to keep light on the site. On tract and infill jobs near occupied homes, we plan the aim before we raise the masts.
Do I need a tower for interior work?
Usually not. String lights and balloon lights work better indoors. They run off your construction power service and move with the crews.
What about noise on a night job?
LED diesel towers are fairly quiet, and solar towers make no engine noise. If your permit limits night noise, check with the city that issued it, and we will suggest solar or electric units.
